Blobulus emerged rather organically. I had decided to design an art sculpture that was also a protective pod for me to be inside during art festivals, one that would protect me from the sun. I have a photosensitive condition called Yao syndrome, but living like a vampire was putting a cramp in my style.

Just like a cloud, Blobulus seems to inspire different visions for each person. Is it a cupcake, an ice cream cone, or a jellyfish? It’s up to you! Blobulus is also bluetooth connected for sound, and always ready to start up a dance party.

​

Additionally, there’s some joyous news! We fed Blobulus after midnight and it spawned a Blobule, AKA “Baby Blob”.
